1) Product
Most of our products are individually hand crafted from natural materials and there are variations in style, color or texture - that is what makes them so special and desirable. Depending on the medium and its age, there may be naturally occurring irregularities and wear. Again, this is part of the attraction of these items. Please view the pictures carefully. If you have any questions, give us a call or send an email so we can answer your concerns.
2) Inventory
As many of our products are one-of-a-kind, some of the pictures on our website are representative only. While we make every effort to make certain that our inventory numbers are accurate, we make no guarantee that individual items are available. If we happen to be out of stock on an item, we will be happy to take your name down and contact you when new or similar merchandise arrives.
3) Payment
Payment for all merchandise is expected at the time of purchase. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Please call (541) 772-1730 or order and pay online. If you wish to pay with a check we will hold your purchase for up to 10 days for your check or money order to arrive. All checks should be made out to Lotus Imports.
4) Shipping
Most in- stock items will be shipped within 3 days of receipt of your order. Exceptions to the rule are any items that require special crating and shipping arrangements to ensure that they arrive safely.
Method: Lotus Imports uses Fedex to ship items up to 150 pounds.
For shipments over 150 pounds, we use a specialized freight ground service. In most cases white glove service or lift gate service can also be arranged at an extra cost. Please contact us for a shipping quote on large items for any special services that are available in your area.
Handling and packing charges are included in the shipping cost for both Fedex and freight delivery.
Insurance:
Lotus Imports packs each item with care and ships with full insurance.
Damage:
We take all precautions to ensure that your purchase is not damaged in shipping by packing each item with care. However, if an item has been damaged in shipping, please notify Lotus Imports and the shipping company within 48 hours so that we can take the proper measures with the insurance company. Please keep all of the packing materials in the event that the insurance company (or the shipping company) needs to inspect them. We regret if an item arrives damaged and will do all possible to resolve the matter to your satisfaction.
5) Returns
For online purchases, Lotus Imports will accept returns on a purchase for refund, exchange or credit. Please contact us for return authorization at (541) 772-1730 before returning any item. A 5% service charge is applied to all returns. The product must be returned within 30 days from our shipping date. Handling, shipping, and any special delivery charges incurred at the time of the original delivery are not refunded. The product must be sent back fully insured with shipping prepaid.
